The faculty of Painting.
There are personal studios at this faculty: those of easel painting, monumental painting, the studio of oil and tempera painting, scenery painting, the studio of oil and tempera painting restoration.

The faculty of Drawing.
There are personal studios of book drawing and easel drawing at the faculty.

The faculty of Sculpture.
There are personal studios at this faculty.

The faculty of Architecture.
There are personal studios at this faculty.

The faculty of Fine Arts Critics and History of Fine Arts.
There are full-time and correspondence departments at this faculty.

    ntry requirements for foreign entrants in Saint Petersburg State Repin Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture

To enter Saint Petersburg State Repin Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture it's essential to have a certificate of secondary education and special skills in arts.

The level of an entrant is checked according to the program of the Institute.
Entrants have to submit the following works:
For Painting and Graphics Faculty: Drawing: a head of a man, a nude, Painting: a still life, a portrait, a nude, a composition.
For Sculpture Faculty: Drawing: a head of a man, a nude, Sculpture: a head of a man, a nude, a composition.
For Architecture Faculty: a drawing of an antique head, an interior drawing, an urban scenery, a still life.

Departments discuss the possibility of an entrant to study in Saint Petersburg State Repin Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. If decision is positive the invitation (thanks to it entry visa is granted) will be sent to an entrant.

To enter Saint Petersburg State Repin Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture any foreign entrant is to pass Russian test. To study at the faculty of Fine Arts Critics and History of Fine Arts entrants are to speak Russian fluently.

     he price of education

for students of Painting and Graphics Faculty, Sculpture Faculty and Architecture Faculty:

• 1st, 2nd year - 5000 USA$ per year
• 3rd- 6th year - 6000 USA$ per year

for students of the faculty of Fine Arts Critics and History of Fine Arts:

• 1st-3d year - 3500 USA$ per year
• 4th -5th year - 4000 USA$ per year

for students of correspondence courses - 1500 USA$ per year,
4th-5th year -4000 USA$ per year.
For foreign students we have a training course.
The price for a trainee:
1st - 6th year - 4000 USA$ per year

Foreign students are to pay Health Insurance. The price doesn't include the hostel rent. Foreign students don't get scholarship.
A foreign student may get a place in the hostel if there are free places (the standard room for two students).
The academic year starts on the 1st of October and finishes on the 1st of June. In June, July students do practical work in Saint Petersburg and in other cities of Russia.

If the training course is finished successfully a trainee will get a certificate.
If a trainee wants to become a student he/she will have to submit the following documents:

• Faculty decision about background level of a trainee with recommendation to enter special course
• Russian test results that are sufficient to study in the Institute
• documents confirming that a trainee has passed all necessary theoretical disciplines. Results of exams and credits passed in other Institutes/Colleges may be taken into consideration if disciplines and number of hours are the same.

If a foreign entrant wants to study at the Institute he/she has to submit:

• Curriculum vitae
• Application in person addressed to the rector
• Works (real or slides and photos of them)
• Notarized copy of Secondary Education Certificate in Russian with subjects and hours mentioned
• Health Certificate
• 6 photos (3*4 sm)
